Episode Show Notes
29 – On Monday I celebrated the 100th episode of this podcast by reflecting back on some of the key highlights and themes from my journey so far.
02 – In episode 101 on Tuesday, I shared three video clips from a BBC documentary called “The Doctor Who Gave Up Drugs” about Dr Chris Van Tulleken who explored cold water immersion as an alternative to antidepressants.
53 – Wednesday’s episode explored more of the science and the research about the benefits of Cold Water Immersion on the symptoms of depression.
07 – On Thursday I shared how I got started with using cold water showers as part of my regimen. It included a step – by – step plan of what I did to go from HATING cold water, to taking 2 minutes under cold water at the end of each shower.
30 – On Friday I shared a couple of David Goggins’ quotes taken from one of his Impact Theory Interviews (one of the rare few people asked back onto the show). They are hard hitting but give an idea of what it might take to take back control of mental well being.
02 – Saturday was St John’s Wort Day (at least on this podcast anyway!). I shared what I had found out about this natural alternative taken by many to alleviate the symptoms of depression.
