7 Wildly Successful People Who Struggle with Mental Health – an Impact Theory Video with Tom Bilyeu and selected guests.
I have done a podcast episode on this video which really helped me. You can find that episode here together with a summary of the suggestions offered by each of the interviewees.
Hope For You
This page will be populated over the coming days and weeks with information to give you hope that however you are feeling right now, there is a way out of it for you.
This website has been put together based on my own experiences of getting so low that I was on the verge of taking my own life.
It got so bad for me that despite my struggle with the stigma of struggling with a mental illness, I sought help from the NHS.
I can remember telling them at the time that I needed just two things:
- Hope that after all the years of suffering, mainly in silence, there was a pathway for me to heal and feel happy.
- Help to find that path and then take it.
I realised I needed to take responsibility for my mental well being and so I started a daily podcast to record my progress.
If you choose to listen to each episode right from the start, it chronicles my journey so far.
I did find hope, sometimes in the most unexpected places.
So this page, as it grows will aim to capture the things that have given me hope and to share those with you.
I don’t know how you are feeling, I can’t possibly imagine how you are suffering, but I do know one thing.
I have felt so low and have suffered so much that I was going to take my own life. Fortunately a couple of things intervened and I realised I needed to seek help.
Even though I could not see my way out of how I was feeling or the predicament I had created for myself, I asked anyway.
What I discovered was hope.
It is possible to recover from those feelings. It is possible to feel whole again.
I am still on that journey and I’ll be honest with you, it is not always easy.
But I want to give you hope that it is possible for you.
Stay with me and let’s find our way through this together.
Daniel.
