Whilst researching more about those affected by depression, I stumbled upon the World Health Organisation website.  It has resources about depression that look extremely useful.  I share my first impressions and tell you where you can find them for yourself.

  • It is the leading cause of disability worldwide.
  • Over 800,000 people die due to suicide every year which approximates to one person losing their life by their own hand every 40 seconds.
